Samsung 's upcoming folding phone Galaxy Z Flip6 suddenly appeared on the Geekbench performance evaluation platform, revealing some important information about the hardware configuration.

Accordingly, Z Flip6 will be equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip with a Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.4 GHz, along with 12GB of RAM, a significant upgrade compared to 8GB of RAM on its predecessors.

The version appearing on Geekbench has model number SM-F741B, said to be the version for the European and North American markets. The device will also run the latest Android 14 operating system right out of the box.

Although Samsung has not officially confirmed, previously leaked information said that the Z Flip6 will have a 6.7-inch folding screen and a 3.4-inch secondary screen, similar to the Z Flip5. The main camera has also been upgraded to 50MP, equivalent to the Galaxy S24 and Z Fold5 series.

The selling price of the Galaxy Z Flip6 is expected to surpass the $1,000 mark for the first time. Samsung may launch a promotion for additional storage capacity during the initial sale period, with the 512GB version being sold for $1,100.
