How powerful is the new Wi-Fi 7 standard on iPhone 16?

The entire iPhone 16 line supports Wi-Fi 7, so how "super fast" is this wireless connection standard?

Apple has just officially introduced the iPhone 16 series with a series of new improvements, notably supporting the super-fast Wi-Fi 7

standard on all versions, from the standard iPhone 16 to the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Launched earlier this year by the international Wi-Fi Alliance, Wi-Fi 7 promises to deliver superior data transfer speeds of up to 46 Gbps, five times faster than the current Wi-Fi 6E standard.

This means users can experience smooth 8K video streaming, lag-free online gaming, and immersive 3D AR/VR content.

Wi-Fi 7 is one of the notable highlights of the iPhone 16 series.

In addition to being faster, Wi-Fi 7 operates on wider 320 MHz channels, combined with the 6 GHz band,

which helps reduce interference and signal congestion.

The technology also allows devices to transmit and receive data simultaneously on multiple links with different frequencies.

Last year, Apple equipped Wi-Fi 6E on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models.

This year, the company boldly brought Wi-Fi 7 to the entire iPhone 16 series, including the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.

Apple equipping the entire iPhone 16 line with Wi-Fi 7 not only brings a superior experience to users but also affirms the company's pioneering position in applying the latest technologies.

This is also an important step forward, opening up the future for high-speed and stable wireless connections.

One of the historic changes compared to many recent iPhone generations is that the iPhone 16 Pro screen has increased to 6.3-inches (compared to the previous 6.1-inches of the iPhone 12/13/14/15 Pro) and the

iPhone 16 Pro Max screen has increased to 6.9-inches (compared to the previous 6.7-inches of the iPhone 12/13/14/15 Pro Max).

In addition, all are equipped with the new A18 processor integrated with artificial intelligence (AI).

However, it should be noted that these AI features will be provided by the company through updates from

October 2024 until next year depending on the market, but Apple has not mentioned the Vietnamese market at the event.

Immediately after the event, social media users in Vietnam simultaneously posted on their personal pages, expressing their opinions on the new product line from "Apple".

"This year's most important event is not as exciting as last year. Because Apple has done everything new and noteworthy last year. So, this year is just like a buffer year with moderate improvements for iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods. Some features of the Pro line are brought down to the popular lines, so it is worth buying if you haven't upgraded these products in 2-3 years" , Facebooker Tung Ha wrote.

According to this Facebooker, anyone who bought an iPhone last year (iPhone 15 series - PV) can save money for other things this year. "Or let's say you play too many games on the iPhone 15 Pro Max and it gets too hot, this year the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max have an improved cooling system with graphene layers and the battery is covered with an extra layer of metal to help improve this problem ," he wrote and noted that the specifics have to wait for the actual product.
