"BMW i7 M70 xDrive Electric Car Hits the Market"

With 1,100Nm of torque, the i7 M70 xDrive is the fastest and most powerful pure electric BMW model in history.

Despite the expectations of speed enthusiasts for a BMW M7, the Bavarian car company does not see enough reason to make an M version of its highest-end sedan. However, with the ability to accelerate 0-96 km/h in 3.5 seconds, 650 horsepower and 1,100 Nm of torque, in theory, the rookie BMW i7 M70 xDrive has the same numbers. like a "real" M.

BMW i7 M70 xDrive electric car launched, possessing a capacity of 650 horsepower - 1

The BMW i7 M70 xDrive is considered to be able to partly meet the expectations of those who are looking forward to a BMW M7.

Although it weighs 2,689kg, the i7 M70 xDrive is the fastest and most powerful model in BMW's electric vehicle product range. In fact, it's not only the fastest 7-Series, ahead of the M760e xDrive with a 0-96km/h time of 4.3 seconds, but also faster than the recently launched BMW XM Label Red - the BMW's first independent M in 40 years.

This increase in power and speed is thanks to the rear half of the electric motor. The front electric motor produces the same 255 horsepower as the i7 xDrive60, but the rear motor has 50% more power - from 308 horsepower to 483 horsepower.

The rear motor not only helps give the i7 M70 impressive parameters, but it is also the most powerful electric motor in BMW history.

In Sport Mode, the car can reach 1,014Nm of torque. But if the Launch Control feature is enabled, the torque will reach a maximum of 1,100Nm. Additionally, maximum torque can be activated by activating the M Sport Boost feature.

What is most impressive is that the above parameters are achieved without sacrificing the distance the vehicle can run after each full battery charge. The BMW i7 M70 model uses the same 101.7kW battery pack as the i7 xDrive60 model. However, BMW's preliminary tests show that the car can run 472km on a full battery charge, not too poor compared to the 509km of the i7 xDrive60 model.

For those who are still worried about the operating range of the i7 M70, users can activate the new "Max Range" mode to optimize the vehicle's travel range. With the DC fast charger, BMW says users can charge from 10% to 80% in just 34 minutes.
