San Francisco-based Corgi Insurance has launched fine arts coverage for individuals and businesses, and it introduced Golden by Corgi, a sports and entertainment insurance platform offering coverage through its surplus lines carrier.
The fine arts coverage protects eligible artwork and collections against covered risks, including damage, theft and loss. Eligible works include paintings, photography, sculpture, prints and other collectible works.
The coverage is available to eligible personal and commercial customers. It includes personal collections kept in homes or other covered locations, as well as artwork displayed in offices, hospitality spaces, galleries and other commercial environments.
Golden by Corgi offers more than 20 lines of commercial coverage for sports organizations across the U.S., including teams, leagues, federations, national governing bodies, tournaments, athletic facilities and sporting events.
Through its surplus lines carrier, Golden provides customized insurance programs for organizations with specialized or complex coverage needs. The platform combines underwriting, claims and risk management, with in-house claims handling and certificates of insurance available in minutes, according to the company.
Corgi is an insurance carrier that uses artificial intelligence and underwriting technology and handles claims in-house. The company provides coverage for growing companies and specialized commercial risks.
