Ontario Teachers’ Sells Stake in French Broker

 Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan has signed a definitive agreement



ement to sell its stake in Diot-Siaci, a Paris-based corporate insurance brokerage group, to French private equity firm Ardian.


Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.


As a long-standing shareholder of the group since 2015, Ardian is now increasing its stake in Diot-Siaci to beco


me its main financial shareholder by acquiring the shares held by Ontario Teachers', Bpifrance, Cathay Capital and other minority shareholders.


Upon completion of the transaction, Ardian (formerly AXA Private Equity) will become Diot-Siaci’s lead fin


ancial shareholder, alongside the Burrus Group, a long-standing shareholder, and the management team. The new capital


l structure will establish joint control governance between Ardian and the Burrus Group.
