Markets/Coverages: AXA XL Launches Portal

AXA XL has launched a web-based portal for its global clients, providing a centralized platform which allows data insights across multinational solutions portfolios to be viewed and exported in real-time.

The portal, which is available via AXA’s Digital Commercial Platform, enables clients to analyze and extract data and documents across policy, premium and captive premium via an interactive dashboard that is easy to navigate and offers reliability and robust security features.

“In an increasingly complex risk environment, our in-house experts help clients to navigate the challenges of managing multiple policies across different jurisdictions as part of a single multinational solutions program,” commented Yves Betz, head of Multinational Solutions, AXA XL, in a statement.

“By launching our client portal, we are further enhancing this offering, bringing flexibility to our clients by providing them with a holistic view of the implementation of their global programmes in an end-to-end transparent and effective way,” Betz said.

Carroll’s lawyer, Roberta Kaplan, said Wednesday: “We do not believe that President Trump will be able to present any legal issues in the Carroll cases that merit review by the United States Supreme Court.”

Carroll testified at a 2023 trial that Trump turned a friendly encounter in spring 1996 into a violent attack in the dressing room at Bergdorf Goodman, a luxury retailer across the street from Trump Tower. The jury also found Trump liable for defaming Carroll when he made comments in October 2022 denying her allegation.

A three-judge appellate panel upheld the verdict last December, rejecting Trump’s claims that trial Judge Lewis A. Kaplan’s decisions spoiled the trial, including by allowing two other Trump sexual abuse accusers to testify. The women said Trump committed similar acts against them in the 1970s and in 2005. Trump denied all three women’s allegations.
