Xiaomi will launch a gaming tablet with an 8.8-inch screen and Dimensity 9400+ chip, promising a top-notch gaming experience.
Xiaomi is planning to expand its tablet lineup in 2025, with multiple models in development. Among them, a Redmi-branded gaming tablet is expected to launch alongside the Redmi K80 Ultra in Q3 2025.

According to blogger @DigitalChatStation, the gaming tablet is expected to be introduced in July or August, coinciding with the launch of Redmi's previous flagship products. Although the official name has not been announced yet, many predict that this could be the successor to the Redmi Pad Pro.
The new tablet will feature an 8.8-inch LCD display with a high refresh rate, catering to the needs of gamers looking for smooth visuals. The device will be powered by MediaTek's upcoming Dimensity 9400+ processor, an overclocked version of the Dimensity 9400, ensuring top-notch performance. Other notable features include dual X-axis linear motors for enhanced haptic feedback, two USB-C ports for improved connectivity, and dual speakers for immersive sound.
The new gaming tablet will feature a metal unibody design, promising high durability while maintaining a lightweight design suitable for long gaming sessions. At the same time, the Redmi K80 Ultra is also expected to launch with a Dimensity 9400+ chip, a 1.5K flat OLED display, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, a metal mid-frame, a 7,000 mAh+ battery, and 100W fast charging.
