The latest rumor has reaffirmed that the iPhone 17 Pro pair will have 12GB of RAM, providing more powerful performance.
Analyst Jeff Pu once again confirmed that both iPhone 17 Pro models will have 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. These upgrades will contribute to creating more powerful AI features, exclusive to those devices. Together with the A19 Pro chip line, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will become "invincible" in terms of performance.

On the other hand, in August 2024, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that only the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have 12GB of RAM along with a vapor chamber cooling system. Other iPhone 17 models will have 8GB of RAM.
Other rumors about the iPhone 17 series so far include:
- Titanium frame for iPhone 17 Slim, aluminum frame for iPhone 17 Pro
- iPhone 17 Slim will have a 6.6-inch screen, 6mm thin
- iPhone 17 models will have a 24MP selfie camera - an upgrade from the 12MP selfie camera
