After Huawei launched its Mate XT tri-fold smartphone in September 2024, Infinix, a prominent technology brand, introduced its unique approach to this tri-fold concept. The new product called Infinix ZERO Series Mini Tri-Fold Concept has a tri-fold design with dual hinges, allowing it to fold vertically and provide various usage forms.

Unlike conventional foldable devices that simply expand into a tablet, Infinix's concept allows for transformation between a smartphone, a fitness tracker, and a compact camera system. Users can mount the device on a gym machine to track their workouts, clip it to a backpack to take photos, or use it as a regular smartphone.

The product’s outward-folding design allows for dual displays, allowing users to have real-time multilingual conversations with translated content displayed to both parties at the same time. This configuration also turns the device into a premium camera system, with the main camera allowing for high-quality shots and the display assisting in framing the perfect shot.
For fitness enthusiasts, the concept comes with innovative strap attachments that secure the device to a treadmill, bike handlebars, or car dashboard. This allows users to track their workouts, perform fitness routines, or navigate hands-free. When folded into its most compact form, the device functions as a lightweight smartphone, making it easy to use with one hand.
