Samsung is about to launch the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 with many improvements, but there are still some features that remain unchanged from their predecessors.
Samsung is expected to launch two new smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and the Galaxy Z Flip7, this summer. According to PlayfulDroid, the Galaxy Z Fold7 will be a comprehensive upgrade over its predecessor, although its battery and charging technology may not change.

Specifically, a source from technology blogger @SetsunaDigital on Weibo said that the Galaxy Z Fold7 will have improvements in terms of screen, hinge, internal structure, main camera, under-screen camera, and overall durability. However, the battery size and charging speed of the device may remain the same as the Z Fold6, with a 4,400 mAh battery and support for 25W wired fast charging.
Another source on social media X, @Jukanlosreve, said the Galaxy Z Fold7 will have an 8-inch inner folding display and a 6.5-inch outer display, suggesting the device will be slightly larger than the Z Fold6. To reduce thickness, Samsung will likely remove digitizer support on both displays, but keep the S Pen functionality in a different way. The input technology could be integrated into the S Pen instead of on the display.
