After a long wait, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has officially launched. This flagship model is integrated with the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor - the long-awaited 3nm chip for high-end Android phones. Along with that, the device also has 12GB RAM; up to 1TB of internal memory.
The Ultra models have traditionally had a sharp rectangular design, a nod to the older Galaxy Note series. However, the Galaxy S25 Ultra now has rounded corners, making it more comfortable to hold and giving it a consistent look with the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+. The edges are flat and polished, with a titanium finish, giving it a premium feel.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is still IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, and it still includes the fan-favorite S Pen. It's also slightly thinner and lighter than the Galaxy S24 Ultra, coming in at 0.4mm thinner and 14 grams lighter.
Galaxy S25 Ultra color options include: Black, Gray, Silver Blue, and Silver White, with exclusive colors on Samsung.com being Rose Gold, Jet Black, and Jade Green.
Samsung has integrated into its "super product" a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with an adaptive refresh rate (1-120 Hz) and an impressive maximum brightness of 2,600 nits. Thanks to slightly thinner bezels, the product does not differ much in size from the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The device is protected by 2 Gorilla Armor glass panels.
Below the screen is an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Users can also unlock with their faces. The Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with a fancy rear camera cluster: a 200 MP main camera, a 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom, a 50 MP telephoto camera with 5x zoom, and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera. On the front is a 12 MP selfie camera like its predecessor.
In terms of software, the Galaxy S25 Ultra comes pre-installed with Android 15 and One UI 7. The device is supported for Android software updates and security software for up to 7 years. The device has a large capacity battery - 5,000 mAh, supports wired charging up to 45 W, wireless charging 25 W.
