Huawei 's upcoming Mate 70 series is gaining attention with new leaks suggesting that the camera module on all models will feature a tweaked design.

According to images shared on social network Weibo,

Huawei continues to maintain the characteristic camera design style for the Mate 70 RS Ultimate model.

The Mate 70 series will include four versions: standard, Pro, Pro+, and RS Ultimate Design.

Notably, the Mate 70 RS Ultimate Design model retains the prominent octagonal lens setup, with four lenses arranged in a square and five smaller

cutouts for additional sensors such as a color temperature lens and a flash module.

While the arrangement of lenses and sensors may vary between models,

Huawei may be aiming to upgrade the photography experience with a larger camera module, including four cameras, as has been indicated in leaks.

Previous reports suggested that the Mate 70 Pro could feature a triple camera setup, including a 60MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 48MP telephoto lens.

However, with the new camera design showing a total of four punch holes, it’s possible that Huawei will add more cameras than initially expected.

This upgrade is in line with Huawei's ongoing efforts to strengthen its position in the mobile photography field, promising to deliver more detailed and vivid photos than previous generations.

In terms of performance, the Mate 70 series will use Huawei's latest Kirin 9100 chipset. While details about the Kirin 9100 are limited, it promises improved performance and power efficiency compared to the Kirin 9000S currently found in the Mate 60 series.
