While the iPhone SE 4's battery isn't much larger than the iPhone 14's, the more efficient A18 chip should definitely result in better battery life. Plus, the Action Button, Camera Controls, and potential design changes to the iPhone SE 4 should make it look a lot like the iPhone 14.
Overall, the only downside on the iPhone SE 4 will be the lack of an ultra-wide-angle camera - the iPhone 14 has it.

In fact, the iPhone 14 will be less competitive because it doesn't have the hardware to compete with any iPhone or Android smartphone in 2025 - even mid-range phones that cost more than 500 USD. And the iPhone SE 4 will eliminate the iPhone 14 (and iPhone SE 3).
