According to an account named Jukanlosreve on the social network X, Samsung may use the Exynos 2400e chip in the Galaxy Z Flip FE and the Exynos 2500 in the Galaxy Z Flip 7. The Exynos 2400e chip is currently available in the Galaxy S24 FE, the Exynos 2500 chip will be used in the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus in regions like Europe.

Some rumors suggest that Samsung could use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip for the entire Galaxy S25 lineup globally. If this turns out to be true, Samsung will be reserving its flagship Exynos SoC for foldable smartphones , especially if the Exynos 2500 rumor turns out to be true.

Meanwhile, the source mentioned that the Galaxy Z Flip FE could be powered by the Exynos 2400 chip, but since the Galaxy S24 FE used the Exynos 2400e, it's likely that Samsung will opt for the same chip in its first budget foldable phone next year.

The Exynos 2400e is a powerful chip that can handle everyday tasks and is no worse than the Exynos 2400. Plus, if Samsung wants to make a more affordable foldable phone, cutting costs would make sense.

Samsung is already facing a number of competitors in the foldable phone segment, including some that are more attractively priced, so working on a cheaper foldable phone next year would put it in direct competition with phones like the Motorola Razr.

However, it is still too early to predict the chip that will power Samsung phones. The truth will be announced by Samsung when it officially launches its new devices.
