Now, Honor has launched two new mid-range smartphones - Honor X60 and Honor X60 Pro.
The Honor X60 Pro has a 6.78-inch curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1,224 x 2,700px (19.9:9 ratio). The 10-bit display can reach a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, and integrates a 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming mode. Notably, the display can work even with wet fingers.
In terms of photography, both phones feature a 108MP camera.
The Honor X60 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip. This chip can help the smartphone shoot 4K videos with the main camera. In terms of configuration, the Honor X60 only has the Dimensity 7025-Ultra chip. The two Honor smartphones have 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of internal memory. They run the MagicOS 8.0 user interface, based on the Android 14 operating system.
In terms of photography, both phones have a 108MP camera and a 2MP depth camera. The Honor X60 Pro model has an 8MP "pill" selfie camera. The fingerprint scanner is integrated below the screen while the standard Honor X60 (due to the LCD screen) will use a side fingerprint scanner.
The Honor X60 only has a flat 6.8-inch LCD display with a lower resolution of 1,080 x 2,412px (20.1:9 ratio) and a lower brightness of 850 nits (with DC dimming). However, the display still runs at 120Hz.
Smartphones can be used in the rain.
The Honor X60's selfie camera also has an 8MP sensor, but it's housed in a "hole-punch" cutout. Another key difference between the Honor X60 and the Honor X60 Pro is the battery. The standard version has a large 5,800mAh battery with a relatively slow 35W charging capacity.
Meanwhile, the Honor X60 Pro has a larger 6,600mAh battery and faster charging, 66W. The Pro version also boasts stereo speakers with Honor Histen 7.1 technology. They can increase the volume by 300%.
Both are dual-SIM 5G phones with Wi-Fi 5 (ac) connectivity. The standard version has newer Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity compared to Bluetooth 5.1 on the Pro version. Both support the same audio codecs: AAC, LDAC, and aptX HD.
Another exception is the Honor X60 Pro, which has two-way satellite messaging via the Beidou global satellite positioning system, which can be used when there is no cell service.
