Chinese tech company has launched the world's first transparent LED display that can play sound.
Xinjiekou International Cinema in Nanjing, China, has unveiled the world's first "transparent sound" LED screen. The giant screen was developed by Unilumin, a Chinese technology company, which has achieved DCI international standard certification for digital cinemas.
The world's first transparent LED display with sound.
The screen measures 20.48 meters wide and 10.8 meters high, and uses a UCine LED projection system to deliver 4K resolution and a peak brightness of 300 nits. This technology promises to deliver clear, smooth and stable image quality, and is also TÜV low blue light certified to protect viewers' eyes.
The unique feature of this screen is its unique modular perforated design, which allows the main audio channel speakers to be integrated behind the screen, creating a clear and vivid sound experience. This design also eliminates the need for a special screening room, saving space for cinemas.
The first film to be shown on this new screen is "The Royal Cat," an animated family adventure film directed by Chinese director Liang Cao.
Unilumin Group provides LED movie screens in various sizes and is the first Chinese company to receive international DCI certification. The company has also successfully completed projects in the US and Vietnam.
