Dell introduces a pair of AI laptops with up to 21 hours of battery life, Wi-Fi 7 and even 5G

Anticipating the potential of the AI ​​PC era, Dell has just introduced additional AI PC product lines and Copilot+ integrated workstations equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors.


specifically, Dell's two new laptop models - Latitude 7455 and Latitude 5455 are capable of processing AI directly on the device through a custom Qualcomm Oryon CPU, GPU and neural processing unit (NPU). In particular, the NPU provides 40 tera operations per second (TOPS) performance, allowing users to process AI tasks faster.


Information search speed is fast with the advanced AI virtual assistant Copilot pre-installed on the device. Thanks to that, users do not have to worry about network or cloud connection issues, and tasks are also performed more easily and securely.


The Latitude 7455 alone offers up to 21 hours of battery life with a 14-inch QHD+ touch screen, four-speaker system with AI noise cancellation, Wi-Fi 7 Qualcomm FastConnect connection and 5G option for connectivity and mobile work.


Currently, the selling price of these new products has not been officially announced by Dell.

According to The Verge, computers about to be launched by Dell include XPS 13, Inspiron 14, Inspiron 14 Plus, Latitude 7455 and Latitude 5455.


The brightest name among these is the Dell XPS 13, the computer will be equipped with a 12-core Snapdragon X Elite chip with Dual Core Boost feature. The product also comes with 64 GB RAM with up to 2 TB storage, while the screen is 13.4 inches in size.

Talking about the screen, the product is expected to offer 3 options, including 500 nits IPS screen with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, 500 nits IPS screen with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and 400 nits OLED screen with resolution. 2880 x 1800 pixels.


Switching to Dell Latitude 7455, the product will come with Snapdragon X Elite chip. The computer offers up to 32 GB of RAM with 1 TB of storage. As for the screen options, it only offers a 14-inch IPS option with a resolution of 2650 x 1600 pixels.


Another important product that needs to be mentioned is the Inspiron 14 Plus equipped with Snapdragon X Plus chip. According to The Verge, it will have 16 GB RAM and a single 14-inch IPS screen option for 2560 x 1600 resolution. It also has 2 USB4 Type-C ports, 1 USB-A 3.2 port, and a memory card reader. microSD and a recess to connect headphones. Inspiron 14 Plus is about 14.7 mm thin.
